Gil Lutz Resumé

Gilbert E. Lutz started his business career in 1957 progressing through a number of Fortune 500 companies including Dow Chemical co., 3 M Co. Owens Illinois and General Mills. He held positions in sales, marketing and division management

In 1977 Gil started the Road/Racer retail store which sells bicycles, physical fitness equipment and performance foods for athletes. The store is still being run by his family

Gil is the President of The Phoenix Group which he founded in 1985. The company works with developers and marketers of adaptive technology to assist in the product development, testing and marketing of their products for the blind and visually impaired.

In 1992 he founded and headed the Technology and Vocational Resources department at The Sight Center of Northwest Ohio.

Gil has been a member of the Sendero Group since 2000 when he became one of our first testers. He provides training, presentations and technical support for GPS and other Sendero products.

He is very active with a number of transportation organizations working for improved mobility and transportation for blind and visually impaired individuals.
