The Voice Sense is the smallest, lightest and most fashionable PDA for the visually impaired with a Perkins style keyboard for inputting information and synthesized voice for outputting information. It has multimedia functions: a Daisy talking book player, an MP3 player and voice recording capabilities. Wireless networking features (such as wireless LAN and Bluetooth) are also available, as are many other Braille notetaker features. The Voice Sense boasts a high speed CPU and large memory storage.

Ever been riding in a cab and you want to make certain the driver is going to your destination the right way? Now you can with the Voice Sense and the new GPS add-on.

Sense Navigation (Sense Nav) is a program developed by HIMS and GW Micro which uses the Sendero GPS SDK. This program uses map data together with a GPS receiver, and gives information based on the map data. With millions of points of interest, you can find anything from restaurants to hotels, to hospitals. You can even add your own custom entries such as your home, your work, or a friend's home. Creating vehicle or pedestrian routes is easy and you can even share them with other gps users.

GPS satellites and massive location databases combine to create the potential for every place on earth to have a label. The Voice Sense, together with map data and a GPS receiver makes all labeled information accessible. Since GPS satellites can be picked up anywhere in the world, many consumer products already have access to this information. As the consumer demand for these technologies increases, there is more improvements for more accurate location information. Currently Sense Nav is only available for the Voice Sense, but will soon be available for the Braille Sense as well.
