Welcome to MySendero, a web page specially designed with the Sendero GPS and Way To Go users in mind!
Whether you are new to Sendero's software or are an expert, the following links will give you access to important information as well
as keeping you updated about the latest developments.
Maps and Software
Read Map/Software download Instructions. Download Maps and Software. This is the secure login page that gives licensed GPS and Way To Go users access to downloadable maps and software. You will need your BrailleNote serial number and a private password from Sendero to login. This will be emailed to you after your purchase. You must have a high speed connection to download maps.
Download additional POI files for your GPS or Way To Go version. For instructions and details about how to contribute your User.poi file, please download our Collective User POI Explanation.There is a download for customers who have 4.0 and higher, 3.5, one for 3.3, and another for 3.1 and lower. Be sure to download the correct POI version. To use these extra POI files, download the zip file, unzip it (using the WinZip program) and copy the files with a BPI extension into the maps folder where your other POIs are stored.
GPS Version 4 Extra, User POIs and Enhanced POI Content

- Extra POIs for version 4 This version 4 zip file contains extra commercial POIs for cities in Australia and Europe, General ATMs in the U.S. and some exits in the U.S. Last updated, May 1, 2007.
- User POIs for version 4: This zip file contains User POIs from the U.S. and around the world as well as Transit and audio ATM points for several U.S. cities. Updated, August 1, 2008.
- USA Geological Survey POIs for version 4: This zip file contains public domain Bonus POIs covering the USA compiled by the USGS January 2007, nearly 2 million POIs, Last updated, October 4, 2007. Load only the file for your state.
- Entire U.S. RMF POIs for version 4: This zip contains a quarter million U.S. POIs in one file. There will be both unique POIs as well as some duplicates in many categories other than restaurants and hotels. Last updated, August 1, 2007.
- Entire U.K. and Ireland RMF POIs for version 4: This zip contains over 100,000 POIs. There will be both unique POIs as well as some duplicates in many categories other than restaurants and hotels. Last updated, August 16, 2007.
- Entire Canadian RMF POIs for version 4: This zip contains over 50,000 POIs. There will be both unique POIs as well as some duplicates in many categories other than restaurants and hotels. Last updated, August 02, 2007.
- Enhanced POI Content: This zip contains additional information for User POIs. You will find audio and text files of restaurant menus, museum descriptions, trip descriptions, etc. If you come across a User POI that has enhanced content you will hear a chime. Last updated, July 16, 2008.
GPS Version 3.5 User, Transit and ATM POIs
- North America POIs for v3.5 This version 3.5 zip file for North America contains User points for the U.S., Mexico and Canada as well as audio ATMs, general ATMs, highway exits and bus stops for Portland and Charlotte. Last updated, August 1, 2007.
- International POIs for v3.5: This zip file contains limited commercial and user 3.5 POIs for 7 regions of the world, Africa, Middle East - Russia, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Mexico, compiled, May 1, 2007.
- Europe and UK POIs for v3.5: This version 3.5 zip file contains new user POIs and older commercial POIs for UK, Europe and User POIs for Israel. Last uploaded, December 28, 2006.
GPS Version 3.3 POIs
- North America POIs for v3.3 This version 3.3 zip file has 9 files for North America including user points, exits, atms, bus stops and more, 4MB.
- International POIs for v3.3 This version 3.3 zip file contains 30 POI files including the UK, France, Spain, Austria, Italy and other countries around the world, 10MB.
GPS Version 3.1 POIs
For Sendero GPS version 4.2 and higher, you must log into the MySendero download site to access your software. In order to fix small bugs in a timely fashion for those who have 4.0 software, we have posted this patch. The GPS version 4.03 patch is available. If you have version 4.0, 4.01, or 4.02 you should download this new patch and install it over your version. Bug Fixes detailed
Warning, do not install 4.03 over any version prior to version 4.0 or your license will be invalid.
